In this third edition of projecting the Patriots’ 53-man roster, there are some additions and subtractions of importance, particularly at receiver, safety, and defensive tackle. As the Patriots head into the third week of the preseason, with a game this Friday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the team is only five days away from trimming its roster to 75 players on Monday, and nine away from 53.
