Every year we have this conversation and I feel like, in the same tradition, every year we should explain why we’re thankful.

I’m thankful for my family because despite my distance from the nest — and very sporadic returns home — they understand.

I’m thankful for my job because it is fun, challenging, stressful and takes care of me.

I’m thankful for some of the best friends in the world. We’re on five different continents right now and we’re still arguing over fantasy football.

I’m thankful for my health.

Right now, things couldn’t be any better. And I’m thankful for that too.

Happy Thanksgiving world.

P.S. I’ll be back to writing about sports/journalism and other topics here next week when things die down in Boston.

  1. I want Green-Ellis back. You can have Chad “I am the most overrated fantasy player in the world” Cinco back.

Haha…I’m thankful to have friends like you in my life. Love you, Zur. See you in Europe soon. I’m counting the days.
